Delegate Information 

Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), NRG Center

Houston, TX, May 4- 7, 2026

Newfoundland and Labrador provincial delegate fees are $700 CAD per person. Invoices will be issued from the Department of Finance following the event. Cancellations after April 24, 2026, will not be refunded. 

ACCOMMODATIONS - BOOKING DEADLINE is April 16, 2026. 

1.    The delegate block of rooms is located in the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Suites, Houston by the Galleria, 5353 Westheimer Road. Check-in is 4:00PM and check-out is 12:00PM. The hotel will endeavor to accommodate check-ins as they become available. 

•    A minimum of three (3) nights booking is required. Room availability is limited, and on a first come, first served basis. A deposit of one night will be charged to your credit card 21 days prior to arrival. Cancellations can be made up to 72 hours prior to arrival for refund of this deposit. 

2.    There are 2 room types available at the hotel: 

•    A standard room without a kitchen or dining area. These rooms are $195 USD/night during peak nights (May 2 - May 8, 2026). The off-peak/shoulder rate is $175 USD

•    A limited number of suites with full kitchen and dining area for $215 USD/night during peak nights (May 2- May 8, 2026). The off-peak/shoulder rate is $195 USD. 

•    Included with these rates are: 

o    Complimentary Wi-Fi for all guests

o    Discounted breakfast buffet at $10 per person 

o    Discounted self-parking at $15.00 

o    Welcome cookies and bottled water for the group

o    Complimentary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius, based on availability

3.    Delegates are asked to book their accommodations directly with the Doubletree Hotel by following: https://group.doubletree.com/qx17vf . Delegates are free to book accommodations outside of this block/hotel as they desire. 

CONFERENCE 

1.    All registered delegates will be provided with an event badge for OTC, available for pick up at the Doubletree prior to the conference. The OTC conference website is as follows: https://2026.otcnet.org/

2.    A username and password will be provided to registered companies to input a listing/profile in the OTC digital directory. If you DO NOT wish to have a listing, please email [email protected]. It is optional, but encouraged. For national/international corporate delegates with multiple office locations, this profile should use your local/Newfoundland and Labrador address. 

3.    Energy and Mines officials will again be developing a directory of Newfoundland and Labrador delegate companies. The directory will be a resource available at the booth and shared with Consulate of Canada in Houston. Should your company wish to submit a profile for this directory please indicate this when you register. The deadline date for submissions is April 1, 2026. 

4.    Delegate companies will be responsible for the shipment of their own promotional materials. 

5.    Our booth is #1943. There are two private meeting rooms available, as well as a common area. The meeting rooms can be reserved on a first come, first served basis each day during the conference. A limited number of brochure slots are available in stands for delegates to display promotional materials.
